Oset Mæyraduag (Oset takvimi / -in-in-in-in-in-in calendar) is a traditional calendar used by the Oset people. The calendar is based on the movements of the sun and the moon, with the solstices and equinoxes being the main events. The Oset people used to celebrate the new year on March 21, which is also the day when the constellation of the wild boar begins. The Oset people also used to hold the Nart Destanı Olimpiyatları, where they would compete in storytelling and music to pass on their culture to future generations.
